Today I am bringing you the best of my recent trip to Barcelona, Spain (This was a 2 parter – the first leg of my journey was Paris. See the previous post.) I have never been to Spain before, and it was quite an experience. For me, the hallmark of this city was its architecture. In my photos you will see a lot of Gaudi’s creations. He paved the way for the city’s now infamous designs. I have never seen any buildings designed like this, and I doubt I ever will in any other place. The Sagrada Familia was absolutely breathtaking. Walking through this church was a moment in my life I will never forget. As for the shopping, it did not disappoint me. I was able to shop brands here that I can not get in the states – Pull and Bear and Mango. And the food was awesome! We ate a lot of pinchos, a small bite size snack typically eaten in northern Spain. Lucky for us, it has migrated throughout the country. With pinchos you can try a lot of different things. I hope you enjoy this photos. Have you ever been to Barcelona? If so, what was your favorite part of the journey? Talk soon!
