Today I am coming to you with a product review. Victoria Leather Company sent me the P-52, a messenger style cross body bag. When I opened the box one of the first things I noticed was the smell of genuine leather. I picked up the bag and sure enough, it was super soft and supple to the touch. I have always had an admiration for quality products, especially handbags, and these are generally the things I observe when choosing a bag. Upon inspecting the bag I can say not a stitch was out of place and perfectly spaced out one from the other (this is something authenticators generally look at when authenticating a bag). The color is a rich cognac, which is a staple color to have in your bag collection because it can pair well with most of your browns, tans, nudes, etc. In this case I found it went well with my denim and two tone boots. Aside from the color, the cut of the bag is timeless. It is a no frills style, which means it will stand the test of time, as you can always find a need in your closet for a cross body bag in the brown family. The bag stands approximately 9 inches high, 10 inches wide, and 5 inches deep. I like how it’s not too big or small. It also has a zip compartment in the back that I really like because of its functionality. I find myself throwing my cell phone and keys there a lot. The inside also has two compartments separated by a zipper which can help with organization.
Overall, I really do love this bag for its classic style and day to day functioning power. But if I could change one thing, I would like to see the leather a little more distressed. (That’s not to say it won’t distress over time, however) Other than, Victoria Leather Company has a fan in me!
